South Beach Association Announces Annual Meeting

Put this date on your calendar – Thursday, February 11, 2010 7pm

We will hold our ANNUAL MEETING at the Chapel by the Sea. Reports will be given on a number of topics/issues and we will showcase the continuation of the A1A project and the development of the New Jetty Park. Is everything on time? What about the Seaway/Ocean Drive Roundabout? Plus you have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with City and County Officials with your concerns.

National Night Out announcement

Once again the South Beach Association will co-sponsor, with Oculina Bank, "National Night Out" against crime and drugs.

It will be held at Jaycee Park Tuesday, August 4, 2009 beginning at 5:30pm.

There will be free hot dogs and prizes for the kids.

Come and meet your volunteer COPs drivers.

YEARLY PERMIT VENDOR RULES.

  1. Vendor must comply with all laws, rules and regulations promulgated by local, state or federal authorities, where applicable.
  2. Original permits are not transferable and must be openly displayed on each vending unit, so as to be visible from the road.
  3. Vendor shall not offer for sale anything from said vending unit, other than the items described in the permit for said vending unit.
  4. No vending of alcoholic beverages is permitted under any condition.

Mustard Seed donations needed

This year, the SBA is once again, proudly planning to support the effort of the Mustard Seed Ministries to feed thousands on Thanksgiving Day in our community. Only this year the need is even greater. Due to the state of the economy, more people are in need with fewer donations coming in. Organizers expect to feed possibly over 8,000 people, up from last year's over 6,700.

  1. Gift cards to any local grocery store in any amount.
